The team went to three district events and won the:

• Gracious Professionalism Award
• Innovation in Control Award
• Creativity Award
• Lansing District Event Winner

At states the team won:

• Gracious Professionalism Award

The team also qualified for the world championship.

COMPETITIONS

In 2017 the COMETS competed at five competitions: St. Joseph IN District Competition, Lansing MI District Competition, East Kentwood MI District Competition,  Michigan State Championship, and World Championship in the Archimedes Division.
